Fishy Groups

There are lots of differents types of creatures that live in and around the sea. Scientists have a special system to identify animals. They don't want to confuse a Seal with a Sea Lion, or an Octopus with a Squid. Every kind of animal belongs to its own species. Scientists put species into different groups or "categories" such as Mammals and Fish. Similar species can be put into a category if they have certain things in common.
