Fishy Families

Most Sea Creatures lives in groups, some species will live with hundreds of others because it is safer to be in a large group. These groups are given different names to describe a group of the same species living together.

	Frog A group of frogs is called an Army.

	Whale Whales live in groups called Pods.

	Western Clown Western Clowns are a type of fish, fish live in groups called schools. Fish often live in large groups to be protected from predators as it is harder for the predator to pick out out single fish if they are packed together.

	Shark A group of Sharks is called a Shiver. They will hunt together in small groups to track down food.

	Moon Jelly Moon Jellies are members of the Jellyfish family. A group of Jellyfish is called a Smack.

	Hawksbill Turtle The Hawksbill Turtles live in groups called Bales.
