GET SET TO GET SPOOKY WITH NEW TORCHLIGHT TOURS AT SEAQUARIUM RHYL

Staff at SeaQuarium Rhyl are busy putting the finishing touches to a nine-day festival of the spooky kind that opens to visitors on Saturday, 25th October 2014 – with an added extra twist especially for Halloween!
Spooky Spectacular, which is now in its second year, will be celebrating the spookiest of seasons with the appearance of witches and ghosties telling tales of the unexpected and presenting some of the spookiest shows in town! There’s the opportunity for visitors to take part in the Halloween Craft Club and follow an interactive trail to discover more about the creepy inhabitants that live at SeaQuarium.
As staff will be wearing spooky inspired costumes for the whole event, visitors too are encouraged to dress up and celebrate the coming of Halloween – which has even more ghostly goings on!
Dave Handley, Aquarist, said, “SeaQuarium is really getting into the spirit of things this year and will present their new family Torchlight Tour on 31st October 2014. As the lights go down, visitors should prepare themselves to encounter all kinds of things that go bump and slither in the night. An unforgettable guide will lead visitors by torchlight behind a waterfall, through a sunken galleon, out to dead man’s cove (naturally) and through the jaws of a great white shark. All of the time unearthing some of SeaQuariums’ most eerie tales and introducing the real ghosts of the deep, known as moon jellyfish. There are some unexpected additions to the collection, too, such as rats, snakes, spiders and millipedes”.
Dave, continued, “The New Torchlight Tour will only take place on Friday, 31st October 2014 and as well as a tour of the entire Centre, includes a night time visit to feed the harbor seals, talks, a visit to Fantastic Phobias, traditional Halloween games, a meal deal and drink, plus a goody bag at the end to take home”.
