Shiver me timbers its Pirate Week at SeaQuarium Rhyl

Rhyl SeaQuarium is being taken over by buccaneers, brigands and privateers this week as part of their Pirates' Week celebrations (16th - 26th August).
Staff are busy putting the finishing touches to their own pirates' costumes and any child who arrives in full fancy dress will get FREE entry to the aquarium when accompanied by an adult Plus Adults will receive £1.00 off admission.
Pirate's Week features a variety of fun activities including flag making, story telling and lots more swashbuckling fun and games.
As well as all the aquatic displays - and the spectacular outdoor Seal Cove - visitors will also be able to take part in treasure hunts, colouring competitions and special talks around the aquarium accompanied by staff in pirate dress.
SeaQuarium Commercial Manager Amanda West said: "Pirate's Week is always one of the most popular events that we have here at the aquarium - particularly with our younger guests but also among the staff. For most people the prospect of having to dress up would fill them with dread but our staff can't wait to get out of their uniforms and into their pirates' gear - they look forward to it all year round."
We will also need your help to choose our new pirate captain in our daily themed seal shows taking places in deadmans cove.
If you want to join in the fun and get into the spirit of Pirate week, or learn a little more about the fish and seals on display then why not visit the SeaQuarium this summer, with shows and demonstrations throughout the day the SeaQuarium is located on the promenade Rhyl and opens at 10am daily with last admission at 5pm.
