Get hands on for May Day weekend at SeaQuarium Weston.

Staff at SeaQuarium, Weston-super-Mare have been busy getting ready for May Day weekend planning hands-on activities and presentations for visitors to get up close and personal as they enjoy their voyage beneath the waves.
The “Hands On” team will be available throughout the day to bring you closer to many of our creatures and to share their unique experiences of caring for the animals at SeaQuarium.
From the Koi feed and Tropical Reed Breakfast to the hands on Rockpool session there is something for everyone. If you’ve ever wanted to know what an anemone feels like or what a Mermaid’s purse is SeaQuarium is the place to be!
Whatever your pet hate in the ‘creepy crawly’ department, we plan to allay any tales and fears by highlighting some of the more interesting facts and figures about a few of our less than popular little creatures in the brand new Fantastic Phobias Zone.
Attraction Manager, David McCubbin said, “SeaQuarium is challenging you to face your fears in ‘Fantastic Phobias’ and get up close and personal with creatures usually feared and avoided. Perhaps the biggest challenge is putting your head in the ‘Rat Dome’ as the rats scurry about all around you!”
SeaQuarium is open from 10.00am daily with talks, feeds and presentations taking place at regular intervals throughout the day with the ‘Main Feed’ daily at 2.30pm.
SeaQuarium is located on Weston-super-Mare seafront and standard admission price is £8.50 for adults, £6.50 for children 3 -15 years and £7.50 for concessions. All talks, feeds and presentations are included as part of the Standard Admission Prices with tickets valid all day with a hand stamp re-entry.

Pick up a booklet, find the answers to the questions around SeaQuarium and play some fun games along the way! Children will even receive a sticker at the end of their visit when shown to a member of staff!
