SPOOKY SPECTACULAR AT SEAQUARIUM!
Release Date: Thursday 19 October 2017
SeaQuarium Weston is inviting guests to be part of it’s Spooky Spectacular event once again this half term, and this time it promises to have even more ghoulish family-filled fun to experience.
The aquarium will be taken over by the supernatural - witches, ghosts and a host of creepy creatures will be inviting visitors to join in for Halloween-themed fun at the attraction.
The event offers spooky shows, crafts and prizes to be won, as well as the chance to experience ‘Dr Cods’s Crazy Creation Box’. The box offers guests the chance to learn about some mysteries of the sea and also leave with some treats too! Dare you put your hand inside and see what is a trick and what is treat?
Halloween celebrations get under way on Saturday 21 October and will run until Tuesday 31 October, during which visitors can make their own jellyfish to take home, take part in Jasper the Jellyfish’s Trail and see if they can unlock the mystery of the spooky spell.*
There will also be the chance to explore the aquarium’s underwater zones after dark, with an exclusive torchlight guided tour on 21 & 28 October between 6:30-8:00pm only.
Senior Supervisor, Abby Flynn, said, “This will be my first Spooky Spectacular event at SeaQuarium and I am thrilled to be part of it. This year, we have included our Dr Cod’s Crazy Creations, where guests are invited to put their hands into the unseen and learn more about what they find inside.”
She continued, “Also we are encouraging guests to join us and venture into seeing the aquarium at night with our annual Torchlight Tour event. This presents an opportunity to see our resident inhabitants in a totally different way - after the dark sets in, with only a torchlight in hand to guide the way! This year, Dr Cod has been performing all sorts of experiments, so let’s hope nothing fishy happens! We encourage everyone to take part and be a part of the show by dressing up in spooky attire and costumes.”
For those brave enough to complete the tour, there will be themed games to take part in too, and everyone who takes part will get a ghoulish goody bag as a souvenir of their evening.
SeaQuarium is open daily from 10:00am with last admission at 5:00pm. Standard admission prices are £9.50 for adults and £7.50 for children. Booking is advised for the torchlight tours, priced at £9.99, and is bookable by contacting us on 01934 613 361.
