Spooky Goings on at SeaQuarium Rhyl this Halloween
Release Date: Sunday 16 October 2016
Even the seas aren’t safe from spooky goings on this Halloween, as Rhyl SeaQuarium adds the finishing touches to brighten up the spookiest of seasons.
SeaQuarium will be a haunted haven for all manner of creepy creatures, slippery sea life and nerve-racking nature.
From Saturday 22nd October until Monday 31st October, the ‘Sea-scary-um’ will be providing a whole host of spooky family fun. Guests are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat alongside snakes, rats, and spider crabs!
There will also be spooky Torchlight Tours and the chance to play along with Halloween-themed crafts, spine-tingling story-telling and traditional Halloween games.
Richard Morrilly, Aquarist, said “Spooky Spectacular is a real treat for all the family, where the young and the not so young can learn about curious sea creatures, creepy critters and have fun at the same time! Staff will be getting into the spirit of things by dressing up and guests are encouraged to wear their best Halloween costumes too”.
He added “The Torchlight Tours will provide guests with a spooky new way of seeing the SeaQuarium and its inhabitants after the lights have gone out. The tours will be led by one of our creepy crew with only our torches and pumpkins to illuminate the way.
“As the tour makes its way around the centre I am sure there will be a variety of spooky characters and ghostly figures telling eerie tales of the unexpected. If you survive the tour, there will be themed games to take part in with a chance to win a few treats, or will they be tricks?”
Guests can join in the fun, get into the spirit of Spooky Spectacular and take part in the Torchlight Tour, with two time slots to choose from, 5.15pm-6.45pm or 7.00pm-8.30pm. For a scarier experience the later time slot is advised. Both time slots have to be booked and paid for in advance by calling the SeaQuarium on 01745 344660.
As well as the tours there will be shows and demonstrations throughout the day, plus, Jasper the Jellyfish needs help to find his friends who are under a Spooky Spell... is the witch responsible for all that is spooky at the SeaQuarium?
